Set in a stunning valley location the little white house stands adjacent to the old barn our other holiday cottage, they have a slightly elevated position, facing moelfamau counrty park whose entrance lies just 200 metres away ,the 2000 acre park is at the foot of the 1818 high mountain moelfamau in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The tiny cottage is a newly converted barn attached to the owners farmhouse, but remains private,the beamed ceiling through out complement the modern interior, the small open lounge has a double settee, breakfast table, coffee table, sky free view tv. stairs leading to a gallery bedroom,with fitted wardrobe, matching bedside cabinets and dressing table with mirror, tv. and remote. The bathroom has a large walkin highpowered shower, vanity unit, towels, bed linen are provided.

The fully furnished kitchen has washer, tumble dryer, microwave, gas hob, single electric oven, the modern heating system is exceptional, ample off road parking. the whole package is perfect for two people to enjoy North Wales or the many miles of walks from the front door, the Historic market towns of Mold and Ruthin just 3 miles away, the walled city of Chester and North Wales Coast are within 20 miles, we are very flexible and don’t have rules.
Rates: £200 to £280 per week depending on season.

Vale View Cottage is a detached charming late 19th century converted stable block set in the grounds of the owner’s home which was once a Victorian preparatory school. The coach house sleeps 4+ cot. The coach house has been lovingly renovated in 2010 and benefits from its own private garden allowing personal access to the Prestatyn-Dyserth walkway.Situated within five minutes walking distance from Prestatyn Town Centre and 15 minutes walk to the blue flag awarded beach. Uniquely sited with its "shield" of hills and mountains, Prestatyn boasts a distinctly favourable climate all of its own.

So it is an ideal base for those wanting a beach holiday or wanting to explore Snowdon, Chester and the North Wales coast (all within a 30 minute drive). We are at the start (Or finish) of Offa’s Dyke Path so ideally located for those who enjoy walking and cycling. The area is rich in history and the surrounding countryside offers walks in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, nature reserves and the town has been awarded the "Walkers are Welcome" accreditation. Remains of a roman bath house, underling the town’s long history and a vibrant town centre with specialist shops and great places to eat and drink.

Lounge:
The cosy lounge has a slate floor, timber beamed ceiling, bespoke window shutters and for those cosy evenings a wood burning stove. In addition and for your entertainment there is a large flat screen TV with Free view channels, a DVD player and a CD/Radio/I Pod docking station.
A range of books, maps, and DVDs are also available within the cottage.

Garden:
A stable door from the living room leads to your attractive cottage garden. Surrounded with established fruit tress, a well stocked bird feeding table, garden furniture and a barbeque with chimena for late summer evening alfresco dining. And as previously mentioned its own private access to the Prestatyn to Dyserth Walkway.

Kitchen/Breakfast room:
The well equipped cottage kitchen has a quarry tiled floor, bespoke window shutters, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, electric oven and a gas hob. A comfortable seating area allows guests the opportunity to dine, relax and plan the day ahead.

Bedrooms:
The master bedroom has dual aspect views over the garden and courtyard. Stunning original features such as oak parquet flooring, large timber beams and an arch braced ceiling. It boasts a king size reclaimed oak bed which puts guests in danger of those long lazy lye ins! Built in wardrobes, dressing table, and ample of room for a cot.
The second bedroom also has a parquet floor, adult size (3ft) bunk beds, wardrobe and a dressing table, with views overlooking the courtyard.

Bathroom:
A modern bathroom, with detail in keeping with the cottages charm, Bath with shower, sink and WC.

Take a break and relax in the tranquil surroundings of an 80 acre non working farm in the heart of the Vale of Clwyd.

Enjoy the warm welcome of a Welsh speaking family and have a walk along the country roads and footpaths.

The farm is conveniently situated 3 miles from the historic market town of Ruthin and 1 mile from the village shop and pub.

We also cater for small children with a range of toys and ride on tractors. Plenty of room for children to play.

Part of Farmhouse : The self contained part of the stone built farmhouse is a spacious and comfortable. With its own private entrance modern comforts are combined with old world charm. The house is centrally heated during winter months with garden table and chairs for eating out.

Rooms consist of two bedrooms; 1st Bedroom has double bed and two singles, 2nd Bedroom has double bed, room for a cot and also a shaver point (both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes). There is a shower Bathroom with a separate toilet, an oak beamed Lounge/Diner with TV, radio, electric fire and high chair and finally a Kitchen with fridge freezer, cooker, toaster, kettle, microwave, washing and ironing facilities.

Bed linen and hot water is included but you will need to bring your own towels and tea towels with electricity supplied by a £1 meter. Sorry no pets allowed.

Y Granar : This restored farm granary offers very comfortable accommodation whilst retaining much of its original charm.

Rooms include a Bedroom on the ground floor with 2 single beds and duvets, vanity unit, shaver point and walk in wardrobe. The shower room contains a shower, wash basin and toilet. Splendid views are a plus point in the Lounge on the first floor which contains a sofa bed, chairs, TV and electric fire. The Kitchen dining area has table and chairs for 4, washing machine, ironing facilities, electric cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster and ample crockery. A cot and high chair are also available.

Storage heaters and bed linen are inclusive with table and chairs in the garden for eating out. Sorry no pets. You will need to bring your own towels and tea towels. Ample Parking.

The cottage is well placed for exploring North Wales with its beautiful scenery. Llangollen only 10 minutes away is renowned for it International Musical Eisteddfod, annual Balloon Festival, Food Festival, GardenFestival and Victorian Steam Railway. There are many family friendly restaurants and romantic little bistro's based around the River Dee, which runs through the town. For outdoor activities Llangollen offers white water rafting, canoeing and walking. Nearby is the Llandegla Forest Mountain Bike Centre which has biking trails suitable for beginners, family and experienced bikers. It also has some picturesque walking trails. For peace of mind, all tracks within the forest are completely enclosed. The medieval town of Ruthin, historic city of Chester, Snowdonia National Park, many castles and NT properties and not forgetting the beach are all within easy reach for a great day out. There is also a farm shop/garage nearby.
