Cammall Farm holiday cottages were originally a Manx stone barn. This has been tastefully converted into two self-contained units, with all of the modern comforts of home.

Situated on the picturesque western side of the island and with a backdrop of the impressive Kirk Michael hills, Cammall Farm offers a beautiful location for your stay and an excellent base for any type of holiday to the Isle of Man.

The elevated location of the cottages mean that you can watch amazing sunsets before you retire for the day and wake up to a fabulous sunrise across the fields, hills and mountains, offering no better start and finish to your days. You can even admire the rare flock of Ouessant sheep, grazing in the surrounding fields.

Cottage 1, named Slieu Freoaghane (pronounced Sloo Farrane), is the smaller of the two cottages, but is excellently equipped. The open plan kitchen and living room has all of the appliances and creature comforts of its neighbour to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The double bedroom has ample furniture and a spacious fully tiled shower room with power shower. Both cottages have natural wood cathedral ceilings throughout, adding warmth and character. Spacious private parking and undercover for motorcycles is freely available.

Cottage 2, Slieu Dhoo, has a superbly appointed kitchen with all appliances built-in, including, oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer and microwave. There is also a dining room table and chairs for seating up to 6 diners. There are 2 spacious bedrooms with 4 single beds and ample wardrobes and drawer units to cater for the most prepared visitor. A spacious, but cosy lounge has all that you need, a colour tv, cd/radio, telephone and views across the valley. A fully tiled shower room with power shower, completes the accommodation beautifully.

Welcome to Manx Mews - a modern self-catering facility comprising two 3-bedroom newly built houses. Beautifully furnished, they are just a stones throw from the upper promenade, the beautiful sweep of Port Erin Bay and beach together with distant views of the Southern hills. Manx Mews are only a five minute walk from the centre of Port Erin Village, Rowany Golf Course, the Port Erin to Douglas Steam Railway and the Calf Island Cruises which set off from Port Erin harbour. A number of Heritage sites and the coastal footpath are also nearby.

Manx Mews sleeps up to 7 guests who are entitled to full access to the Port Erin Royal Hotel facilities less than a minutes walk away. Ideal for walkers, golfers, divers or extended families.

Upstairs Rooms :

Bedroom 1: large, South-facing master bedroom (luxury shower room en-suite) with double bed plus room for foldaway single bed or cot.

Bedroom 2: takes a double or twin beds. Well lit by natural light this room has an attractive double wardrobe, bedside table and easy-chair.

Bedroom 3: has a full-sized 3 ft set of bunk beds. Ideal for the kids or extra sleeping capacity if you’re staying as a larger group.

Gordon Holiday Cottage, Patrick, Peel, Isle of Man

Gordon House is a farmhouse in wooded grounds within the unspoilt countryside of Patrick a small village situated on the West Coast of the Isle of Man. It is just 10 minutes walk from the picturesque village of Glen Maye. The Waterfall Hotel in Glen Maye is very popular for its food and the footpath from the hotel passes the waterfall and takes you through the natural glen to Traie Cronkan shore.

The cottage is a self-contained, centrally heated extension of the main house with its own front door and small private garden with picnic table. The large bed-sitting room with a double bed has a comfortable sitting area with television. Downstairs there is a dining area and the well-equipped kitchen has a cooker, washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer. The bathroom has a bath with shower accessory.

The historic fishing village of Peel is some 2 miles away and can be reached by way of a very scenic coastal walk from Glen Maye which is well signposted – we provide booklets on island walks – with an abundance of wildlife to interest you on your way. In Peel you will find a well-preserved sandstone castle built about 1400 A.D. overlooking a picturesque harbour, sandy beaches and the House of Manannan, a recent extension of the award-winning Manx Museum. Peel is the sunset city of the Island with cathedral, shops, and restaurants.

There are tennis courts, bowling green and an excellent 18-hole golf course. Fishing trips are available from the harbour.

The village of St Johns, some 3 miles away, is the venue for the ancient Tynwald ceremony, with its historical fair, taking place each year at the beginning of July.

The apartment is attached to Clag Mooar B&B on entering the apartment the porch has a large Viking ship engraved on to the slate floor, from here you proceed up a flight of stairs into the apartment.

Killeabraegga is a traditional old Manx stone cottage, set in the upper part of the spectacular Sulby Glen, in the north of the Isle of Man which we offer as a self catering holiday cottage. It is an ideal spot from which to enjoy the Manx countryside, with a backdrop of the Manx hills, it is truly a relaxing place to stay.

A couple of miles down the glen lies Sulby Village, where there is a village shop/post office, and two hotels, serving meals and beverages. Further up the glen lies a tea room, which has proved popular with our guests and the large Sulby Reservoir, where excellent fishing is possible (licenses are available from the Sulby Store).

The Cottage includes a double garage, and a private concrete parking area.

The cottage itself consists of two stories, upstairs there is a master bedroom with a double bed, and a smaller bedroom, with a double bed. There is also a bathroom, with a bath, shower, wash basin, and toilet.

Downstairs, there is a comfortable lounge, with an open fireplace, a kitchen, with an Aga; and a dining room, and a settee in this room can be converted into a double bed if required.

Equipment includes an Aga cooker, a microwave oven, an electric kettle, a toaster, a steamer, and a small gas hob & oven to supplement the Aga cooker; also a washing machine and tumble dryer; a fridge-freezer; satellite television; and a coin-operated telephone. The Aga has been converted to run on oil, for ease of maintenance; and co-ordinated smoke and heat detectors have been installed, for your safety.

Prices are inclusive of electricity, and coal and logs are provided for use on the lounge fire, if desired. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are also provided.

All in all, the cottage should provide a really peaceful and interesting base from which to explore our beautiful island.
